Thanks for a lovely summer social!

(DELETED) PGE projest ...
The projet on Clarewood Drive was originally planned to also go through the Mall. A decision has been between PGE and the contractor (Pinnacle)
to abandon the Mall plan and instead start excavating a trench down Clarewood Lane.

Another Contractor's Tools Stolen (8-9:30am today)
Our wonderful plumber, Alberto from Oakland Rooter, just installed a new water heater for us. Parked in my driveway, his tools were stolen out of his truck. He believes it was someone dressed as a construction worker who is not doing construction. Don't have a description, as he looked like all of the other workers with hard hats and vests, per Alberto.

Work on Clarewood Drive & Mall (PG&E/Pinnacle)
Absent any written communication by PG&E or Pinnacle regarding the major work that is about to begin in and around CTA, I talked with both the foreman (Lopez) and the project manager (Jose Garcia). Work could begin as early as today. They will start working at the top (next to my place) and work their way down the Drive. Work will continue for more than a month and was told directly that we will hate them before they're finished. They don't expect electricity interruptions but there ...
