Upcoming Paving Work
As I expect you've all seen (from the flyers left on our doors and the signs on the Lane and the Drive) a repaving project will begin on Monday. Here's what we have been told:
- The Lane will be repaved on Monday.
- The new pavement will be from the top of the lane down to the mall (roughly).
- They will pave from the trench where the previous electrical lines were placed, 18' across the Lane.
- After completing the lane, they will work on the Drive.

Disaster Committee
In light of the fires we’ve seen in Los Angeles, having a plan for responding to community disasters is top of mind.
In the past, we had a disaster committee, and ran drills every year or so which entailed checking supplies, establishing meeting places, responsibilities and methods of communication. This fell off during Covid, but we are now interested in reviving these activities.

I just came across keys/keychain in the middle of the lane near 21 (Tuesday at about 8:45 am). I moved them to the side of the road near the drainpipe on the garage (didn’t want to take them in case someone knew where they dropped them and was coming back to look for them).
